The Alpinestars Tech 5 Boots are meticulously crafted with an upper constructed from abrasion-resistant microfiber and synthetic polymer on the toe box, ensuring exceptional durability and water resistance while remaining lightweight. The redesigned instep and Achilles accordion flex zones, made from lightweight microfiber, offer superior comfort, control, and support. A contoured advanced polymer core structure envelopes the upper boot, providing structural integrity and abrasion resistance while allowing excellent controlled flex. The anatomically profiled, high modulus polymer shin plate offers superior impact and abrasion resistance, with a contoured design and Velcro® adjustable panel for a personalized and secure closure. The medial-facing biomechanical pivot system connects the lower and upper parts of the boot, providing front and rear flexibility and structural support. Both the inward-facing upper and lower panels are constructed from specifically formulated polymer with grip sculpture patterning for maximum contact with the bike and improved abrasion resistance. The innovative buckle closure system incorporates polymer and fiberglass buckle arms and high-impact aluminum bridge closures for durability and weight-saving.
